THE MUSIC OF SOUND.....

Jack was among the youngest of all his brothers. They were five in total including jack. The fact that he was the youngest among all made him feel a little insecure about his position or worth in his dad’s life. He would think that his dad would only love his first born and the rest of others but not him. But everyone was equally important for his dad. He loved everyone. Once he questioned his dad. “ Daddy, there are so many people on this earth and we all are children of God . So how come God is able to love everybody?” Now his dad knew it was jack's insecurity indirectly speaking. His dad took out some coins from his pocket and gave it to jack. He told him to pick it up one by one and try to produce sound from it by hitting it on any surface. Jack did so but the sound was just as if someone had knocked on the table. He did so repeatedly with all the coins one by one but still the sound was low and amateur.   His dad then gave him all the coins and told him to shake...

THE TREE HOUSE

He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he causes me to stand on the heights.       Psalm 18:33                         “John was standing dormant staring at the cemetery where his vital fragment of life lied buried deep inside the ground. Just then a raindrop dripped across his cheeks and his consciousness startled” It was yet another sunny day as days were approaching the end of the month, and john was keen to know about the puzzle game that his beloved father would bring. John was a fun loving and mischievous, yet an obedient son of his father. John would await for days to take a leap and jump to the end of the month so as to get a new puzzle game from his dad. He loved the puzzle game immensely. He loved to put the fragments of the puzzle together so as to see what would...

A peek through the window

God has made everything fit beautifully in its appropriate time. Ecclesiastes 3:11 It had been 2 years since Reena had met her mom.It was never easy for her to stay so distant from her. She had her college, part time job in the city. She used to travel once every year to meet her mom. But she missed the previous year as she had to prepare for her competitive exams. Life was a huge toil on her! Since her father's death ,her mother and she had been desolated by their relatives. But by the Grace of God they managed to survive in this self centered world. Reena was not satisfied with Life. She used to think that life should be all about happiness! She wished her dad could be alive . Our family must have lived to our fullest was her thinking. So she boarded the train in the evening. By the time she got herself comfortable it was night. She was sitting beside a window. She could see the ground green grass blending with the moons greyish shade. As the train moved ,so did the scenery outside...

My Omnipresent God

It was Sunday morning as I paced up through the corridor of my house ,holding my guitar and trying to keep my untied shoe lace from getting tangled. "How come I got up late! Why did I consent the nap to have my time." As I walked through the road, I started pondering on my behaviour. I mean how could I...its not about today...but from past few Sundays am allowing my sleep to have extra time and I end up being late at the church! Its my responsibility to lead the choir! When the pastor preaches the sermon ,I get distracted and start wandering in my thoughts and I don't even bother to shift my attention back! I resent this behaviour of mine! " I came from the church not as happy and satisfied as I would come back when I started knowing God deeply! I was going through a lot..i don't know what was wrong with me ! Was I missing someone? Huh... I started worrying when a drop of tear filled my eyes . And the fact is I did not know why was I crying. I ended up ...

The Jar of Guilt - paul vattikuti

" Are you angry with me dad?",Muriel asked in a tensed tone. "Yes,I am!", replied her dad. It was Sunday and the whole family was at home spending time with each other. Muriel ran through the corridors of her house chasing her younger brother. She stepped inside her dad's room. She saw her brother's reflection in the mirror and slowly leaned towards the bed to grasp him. She grasped him by his collar and yelled" I got you, yeah!!!" ,and began to swing her  hands in air in the excitement. Just then the joyous moment broke into silence with a creeky noise. She assumed she got a hand to something and it broke. She leaned down and she was appalled at what she had done. It was his father's favourite glass photo frame which was well showcased on the table few seconds ago and now was shattered into pieces! Tears started obscuring her view. Immediately she noticed a Jar of clay and decided to put the broken frame inside the glass. She took that jar I...

The Dark Moon- paul vattikuti

All this monotony is tiresome; no one can bear to describe it: The eye is never satisfied with seeing, nor is the ear ever content with hearing. Ecclesiastes 1:8 Once a upon a time, there lived a girl named Diana far among the woods with her family .Her attributes towards her family wasn't well constructed as she was restricted to do certain tasks . She felt cursed being born in a family like such..but she didn't see the motive of her parents was only to keep her safe.. Her parents were fun loving persons..when she was 7 her dad used to take her up on his back and used to venture out in the woods roaming around. Still with so much concern shown to her she felt being treated inferior as compared to her younger brother. Whenever she used to get irritated or felt to cry she would rush to the balcony and used to see the Bright glittering moon over the horizon which appeared to be big !  She used to look at it for hours and used to talk with it  . As she grew up she kept on doing ...
